Highland senior Emily Hadler has been selected as the Medina County Kiwanis February Student of the Month. Emily is an outstanding student who is involved in numerous AP and Honors classes. She is Yearbook Editor and a member of Student Council, National Honor Society, Medina County Junior Leadership, Students for Impact and is a Peer Leader.
Emily is a four-year member of the Highland tennis year and a three-time State qualifier.She was named Medina County Player of the Year, Suburban League Player of the Year and was presented with the Freshman Pride Award for Athletics.
When not in school or on the tennis court, she enjoys volunteering in the community. Emily volunteers at Medina Hospital, Playhouse Square, Easter Seals and the Human Library. She is also an NHS tutor. In total, she has volunteered over 100 hours of service.
She is the daughter of Gary and Elizabeth Hadler of Granger Township and plans to attend the University of Findlay, where she will study physical therapy.
