Thank you for your interest in employment with the Highland Local School District. We have moved to an online application process that will allow you to apply for any position in our district. In addition to the application, you will be able to upload any supporting documentation, including a cover letter, resume and references. We will no longer accept paper copies of applications or supporting materials.
If you have previously applied to the Highland Local School District, we encourage you to take a few moments and complete the online application. Your application will remain on file for one calendar year.
You may search open positions and make direct applications for a specific position(s) or complete an application for future openings.
Substitute Teacher Application Requirements/Process
The Medina County Schools' Educational Service Center processes all of our substitute teacher applications. You may contact that office directly at 330-723-6393, ext. 127 or 140 for information regarding the substitute teaching process or you can go directly to their website www.medina-esc.org, click the Personnel tab followed by the Substitute Teaching tab and gain access to their online application process.
Once you have completed the requirements and are board-approved, you will be placed on the district's substitute list. We receive monthly updated substitute teacher lists from the Medina County ESC.
