Highland Dance Force

The Highland Dance Force is an athletic organization consisting of dancers in grades 9-12. We peform at various Highland events and games, including boys and girls varsity, junior varsity and freshman games as well as selected middle school basketball games.
Each summer, the team attends a four day camp at a local university sponsored by the Universal Dance Association. Although we are not a competition team, national competitions sponsored by UDA and UCA (the cheer association) can be seen on sports stations such as ESPN. Our styles of dance include hip-hop, kick, jazz, and pom.
Some of our alumni are members of college dance teams and one is a member of UDA at Bowling Green. Many of our current dancers are in competition dance companies at local studios. Some are teachers' assistants.
Interested dancers should contact Mr. Bo Kuntz, HS Athletic Director.  Basic skills such as pirouette, leaps, and knowledge of basic dance combinations is suggested.
