Our focus this school year is on “Reading Unlocks the Door to our Past”. We have incorporated many activities into our school program that will reflect on our history. We will receive a visit from Abraham Lincoln in recognition of the 200^th anniversary of his birthday. Other programs will feature Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Native Americans. We are planning for a schoolwide musical based on U.S. History in May and a culminating schoolwide History Museum display in May, too. Keep reading for a great year!
