What are the consequences for behavior regarding Field Day?

Field Day for fourth quarter takes the place of our regular “Fun Friday.” To qualify, students who receive two or more lunchtime detentions due to behavioral issues (not strikes), a written office referral from any teacher, a white bus slip, an after school detention or ISS due to behavior, will not be permitted to participate in Field Day. Students with two or more D’s, and any F’s also do not qualify.

Students not participating will get the same lunch provided by PTO as the rest of the students.

It is our intention to reward students who display respectful and responsible behavior for fourth quarter.

What do they do if they aren’t in Field Day?

Students are expected to attend school that day. Teachers volunteer to sit in with the students. They are to do school work, and sometimes have a written assignment regarding school rules and expectations/responsibility.

How to we access the current grade average in Parent Assist?

When viewing the current progress of a student, the main screen shows the current progress for the student throughout the year in the "current" column. To see the progress of a student in a specific class and the current marking period, click "details" next to the class you wish to check. When the details window pops up, select your reporting term from the dropdown list at the top and then click "display." At the bottom of the list of assignments, there will be "Current Average" displayed. This is the average for that specific class at during the selected reporting term.
