Welcome to Highland Middle School Mission
Meeting the needs of the gifted child is a priority throughout the Highland Local Schools. At the Middle School, students receive a variety of services and can participate in various opportunities that will meet their individual needs. Our gifted program recognizes the cognitive, academic, social and emotional needs of the child. It contains a variety of options and choices for your child to be enriched and/or accelerated. This may occur in the classroom, through accelerated content, in after-school clubs, or by participation in contests and competitions. Highland has many opportunities for your child to be enriched and/or accelerated at school.
