- The WEP includes a description of gifted services being provided for the student, annual goals for the student for each service, and the methods for evaluating progress toward the goals specified.
- The WEP states the method and schedule for reporting progress to parents and the staff responsible for ensuring delivery of each service prescribed.
- The procedures regarding waiver of assignments for students receiving differentiated instruction are as follows: Assignments that align with current quarter curriculum indicators can replace regular classroom assessments. Assignments that may align with indicators outside of the quarter can also be averaged into the current quarter grade.
- WEPs are reviewed annually, and a copy of the WEP is provided to parents and staff responsible for providing the services.
