SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS WANTED:

Highland Local School District is now accepting applications for substitute bus drivers. Class-B, CDL certification with SB endorsement is preferred, but not necessary. We will train. The pay is $13.50 per hour. Please pick up an application at the Highland Bus Garage, 3940 Ridge Road in Granger Township.

Four positions are available for the summer of 2008.

OGT Reinforcement/Testing – Reading/Writing – June 16 – June 20 – 8 AM – Noon
OGT Reinforcement/Testing – Math – June 16- June 20 – 8 AM – Noon
OGT Reinforcement/Testing – Science – June 16 – June 20 – 8 AM – Noon
OGT Reinforcement/Testing – Social Studies – June 16 – June 20 – 8 AM – Noon

The rate of pay for all summer school positions is $30.00 per hour as established in the negotiated agreement between the HEA and the Highland Board of Education.

ELEMENTARY/MIDDLE SCHOOL GUIDANCE COUNSELOR

This position is available for the 2008/09 school year.

Certification required: Guidance K-12

The person selected to fill this position will be placed at the appropriate step of the salary schedule contained in the negotiated agreement between the Highland Board of Education and the HEA.
