Tag Day is the largest annual fundraiser for the Pride of Highland Marching Band program. This program benefits the marching band and concert band at Highland High School and the instrumental music program for students starting in 5th grade. Members of the band – in uniform – will canvass households in the Highland School District on Saturday, September 29 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to solicit financial support. Funds raised support the music program expenses, including the purchase of marching band uniforms (each uniform costs approximately $600), new instruments, and support personnel. Donations are tax deductible. Any donor giving $25 or more is recognized as a patron in all band concert programs. Residents not at home will be “tagged” and receive an envelope to send in a donation, payable to Highland Band Boosters, PO BOX 30, Hinckley, 44233, or you can give online through the DONATE button at www.highlandschools.org/Content/32.
