READING UNLOCKS THE DOOR TO OUR PAST

This school year, the focus is on history.  Students will learn about their own family, their community, their country and their world as they strive to read 500 minutes during each month of the school year.  Every month, they will be given a calendar to keep track of minutes.  The calendars will be filled with book suggestions and mystery clues about historical figures.   There are also plans for special assemblies and an author visit.  As always, readers can earn rewards for logging 500 minutes each month
