6 Honored with NSDA All-American Award

Six Highland High School seniors have been honored with the National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA) All-American Award. This award recognizes students who have completed at least five semesters of high school; earned the degree of Superior Distinction in the NSDA Honor Society (a total of 750 or more merit points); achieve rigorous criteria for GPA and/or test requirements; and demonstrated outstanding character and leadership. Congratulations to Emma Crone, Christopher Sollenberger, Ava Mastrianni, Spencer Phillips, Quade Mainzer and Cecilia Mainzer. From more than 141,000 student members of the National Speech & Debate Association, fewer than 1,000 earn this award every year. This honor places these students among the top one-percent of all members across the country.
